PRESENTATION

CFPS Le Repuis is a specialized vocational training center for young adults who are unable to follow a traditional training course, with the aim of giving them maximum independence for their future lives. The establishment takes on apprentices with particular difficulties and offers them specially adapted courses to facilitate their professional and social integration.

Dominique Plancherel, who has been in charge of information systems at Centre Le Repuis for many years, oversees the institution's IT infrastructure and digital transformation projects.

Discontinuation of the historical VDI solution in place since 2012

SOLUTION

ANSAM supported Le Repuis in abandoning its legacy VDI solution, in order to simplify the architecture, improve the user experience and reduce management complexity for the IT team. At the same time, the server virtualization platform was migrated from VMware to Nutanix, to benefit from a more modern, more integrated infrastructure, better scaled to the Center's needs.

The design, implementation and switchover phases were carried out in close collaboration between ANSAM teams and Repuis technicians, with numerous technical exchanges and feedback from the field.
